The sound essence products are classified as
Vibrational remedies that affect the energy anatomy of
the human body. These essences are divided into three
categories: Elemental Sound Essences, which affect the
meridian energies, Chakra Sound Essences, which affect
the chakra energies, and Aura-Joy which affects the auric
field energies

Evelyn Mulders has an innovative approach to sound therapy. Her book, Vibrational healing with the Chakra Sound essences, is very easy to read and simple to understand, yet packed full of information. Evelyn explains her hypothesis in a manner that makes sense and produces ‘sound therapy’ products that enable busy practitioners to use her method without any fuss. I would have never thought of capturing a sound as an essence, nor would I have thought of using the Tibetan bowls in the manner she has. I was fascinated the moment I saw the beautiful display, intrigued by her presentation, yet skeptical enough to need to be convinced that her sound essences could (and did) work. I volunteered as a demonstration model so I could experience the process firsthand.

The essences are great and so is the book. If you were looking for an easy introduction to the chakras, and not really interested in sound, you would still find this a great guide to use for self-healing and for working with clients.

Elemental Sound Essences are meridian paired essences relating to the Five Element Theory: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood. Each Elemental Sound Essence has the yin and yang component for making seven essences for the fourteen meridians. The Fire Element consists of four meridians, two sub elements of Ministerial Fire relating to the Heart and Small Intestine meridians, and Sovereign Fire relating to the Circulation/Sex and Triple Warmer meridians. Earth relates to Spleen and Stomach meridians, Metal relates to Lung and Large Intestine meridians, Water relates to Kidney and Bladder meridians, and Wood relates to Liver and Gall Bladder meridians. Central and Governing meridians combined complete the set of seven.
Meridians are the energy system that interfaces the outside to the inside of the body, relaying information like a network of transformers. Meridians affect every organ and physiological system including the immune, nervous, endocrine, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, skeletal, muscular and lymphatic system. Each system is fed by at least one meridian. The flow of the meridian is as critical as the flow of blood; your life and health depend on it. Pairing the meridians into Elemental theory takes the healing deeper into the body.
Elemental Sound Essences help the body to keep the interface of communication balanced and healthy. These essences embrace the understanding of homeopathy and the vibration of sound.
Meridian integrity can without doubt be enhanced through the use of herbs. Homeopathy carries the signature of an herb, which the body’s meridian system can recognize and use to keep the chi flowing through the meridian channels.
Sound balances meridians as proven by Specialized Kinesiologists using tuning forks as a meridian correction.
The Elemental Sound Essences combine the messages from the herbs with the vibration of sound to offer meridians a healing vibration that they can tune into. It is believed that these essences affect the meridian intelligence under the skin and on the outside of the skin and into the third and fourth level of the etheric field.
Elemental Essences are vibrational remedies carried in an oil/water medium. This is the consistency that is best absorbed by the body.
Elemental Sound Essences can be placed anywhere directly on the skin. Some believe that placing a drop of Elemental Sound Essence on the beginning or end of the meridian will further enhance its value. See diagram for meridian locations.
